This hotel is discusting! Rooms stinks like a dirty port-o-potty, no beds, run down rooms, no toilet, no sink, no bathtub. Service was horrible, could not find any staff after I checked in.
Very bad place to be!

After a three week bender I checked into Se Vende around 3AM. No one was at the front desk and the power was out so I stumbled around until I found a room. I must have been really drunk because when I woke up the room was cleared out -- the robbers took everything! The bed, toilet and sink were all gone. They were so thorough that even the doors and windows were missing.
To add insult to injury, one of the thieves urinated on the front of my pants and puked on my shirt. I would have called the cops except you really can't dust for vomit.

A bit run down but the price was right, FREE! Hotel Se Vende has a brilliant view of the mountains and a double waterfall. We felt like Goldilocks as we had our choice of rooms. The first was obviously used as a toilet judging by the amount of crap and toilet paper. The second had a mattress and we thought best just to leave it alone. The third was just right! Although lacking running water (except for the waterfalls outside), a toilet and sink it was cozy. We really liked the open air design. Management's decision to forgo windows allowed unhindered views of the sun setting in the mountains.
The lobby was done up in a jungle theme which continued up the stairs to the second floor. The staff was inattentive to the point of being non-existent. We can't comment on the food as the restaurant never opened while we were there.
The location is fabulous, nestled alone in the mountains (we're loading some pictures). The views are spectacular. We did lower our rating because the windows lacked light-blocking curtains and no towels were provided.
