WanderWheels greatly appreciates the hard work and travel that allowed Michael M to donate some hotel points to provide us a room in Portland. Four walls, a hot shower and a bed just happen to be awesome.
We first met Michael as part of the legendary 2002 TransAmerica bicycle trip. To entice us to meet him in Portland (a coincidental customer contract) he held out the carrot of a free room. The bribery totally worked. We battled the Columbia Gorge headwinds to make it to Portland.
Portland has been all about beer and food. And we have not had a bad meal yet. The food is spectacular. The beer does not suck either.
