Seth W, you are the recipient of a road surprise for your prognostication. Wander Wheels is sending you a tear stone from Arizona.
Legend has it that in the 1870s, a battle between Apaches and US Calvary occurred on a mountain overlooking what is now Superior, Arizona. Facing defeat, the Apaches rode their horses off the mountain to their deaths.
The families of the warriors were so saddened that their tears turned into stone upon hitting the ground.
The stone, when held to the light, reveals the translucent tear of the Apache. The stones bring good luck to those possessing them. It is said that whoever possesses an Apache teardrop will never have to cry again, for the Apaches have shed their tears in place of yours.
Or you can listen to the Johnny Cash version of Apache Tears.
